We dined at Bianca's for the first time last week. When we walked in for dinner last Wednesday, there only was one table full. I should have turned right back out and went somewhere else. The service is horrific - they sat us down without menus. By the time our party all arrived, it took another 5 - 10 minutes for the waitress to come check on us to give us menus. We waited forever for mediocre / over priced food. The house dressing was too oily for my liking but overall the flavor was decent. Then the baked ziti was just alright. It tasted like it was missing some key ingredients. It was edible, but I paid for it a few hours after dinner (bad stomach ache) The waitress never asked us for refills during our dinner plus took forever to get our check. I wrote a review on their FB page and the owner of the page is very offensive with negative comments. Honestly, if you can't listen to your negative reviews, you will never improve some huge issues your establishment has.

I'm not much of a reviewer, but I had a very positive experience here and they deserve a shout out. My lady friend and I came in for dinner on a Tuesday night. Sadly the place was pretty empty with the exception of a few folks at the bar. That didn't bother me as it made for a nice peaceful evening. I was worried at first, though, that the slow business may be an indicator of a bad reputation. This was dispelled immediately as we were well taken care of and the food was terrific. The food is good old fashionebeing-sauce Italian. We started with stuffed hot peppers; dammit, they were delicious. They were quite spicy, but definitely in a good way. While the menu contained a decent variety, the gf and I went old school with lasagna and baked ziti, respectively. We were both pleased with the quality and generous portions. It was just as good, if not better, than mom's (as the name implies, I'm from an Irish family, but mom can cook). It may be a small thing, but the bread served with the meal was great; I despise places that serve crappy bread with a meal. Bianca's seems to have a bit of an identity crisis. They have nice place settings and cloth napkins, and yet there are flyers advertising karaoke night and drink specials. Neither of these bothered me, and I guess that being a small business, you've got to do what you have to do to stay afloat. I did notice a separate dining area which would be a great for a rehearsal dinner, anniversary celebration or private party. Our server was friendly and just the right amount attentive. A woman who may have been the owner or manager stopped by to see how everything was; of course we said that everything was great, and her demeanor told me that she already knew that. I appreciate that kind of pride and confidence in one's product. We had a great experience at Bianca's and you should really consider stopping by. The all-you-can-eat-salad-and-breadsticks chain places will always be there, but local establishments like this are a refreshing alternative and deserve your support!

Saturday Night & Empty Great Service Extremely Expensive

Firsrt of all the restruant was empty prime time on a saturday night. The service was terrible as the waitress was clueless to proper etiquette. She did know the term "pardon my reach" and she also chimed in on our conversation, these qualities are so Brunswick. Now for the food. We ordered shrimp cocktail, it was room temperature. Guess who is sick today? I ordered the steak special at 35.00 and iI received a steak that tasted like a very cheap cut. Without telling me the steak was served smothered with onions and mushrooms. What are they trying to hide? The fact that she could not keep the drinks full was not good either.
