Just a quick update to our Spider video, as we know there were sound issues on the last one. Hopefully everyone can hear it better now!

Along with the new version of the +Screaming Frog SEO Spider, we've also written a blog post that goes through some of the work we've done behind the scenes for the new SERP Snippet feature.

Take a look & let us know what you think!

In case you missed it on the blog yesterday, we take a look at negative SEO and ask should you monitor your backlinks?

In my previous agency, we'd used it for about a couple of months back in 2012 before finally realising that the sites there were generally pretty S*ite. It's interesting that Matt classes it as a "network" because it isn't, in the spammy link network sense. But then again Google generally hates everything that makes link building easy so to call it a network fits their narrative I suppose.

Just to make a serious comment as well: Coding came into my mind as well and as I see from your comments it is the same discussion everywhere. Here in Germany at certain schools you can choose to learn basic programming but it is not obligatory (yet). I think it would be a good thing to teach a simple programming language, maybe with some basic hardware lessons as well, as it gives a good understanding of how computers and technology work. To me, this is just as elementary for a good understanding of the world as history or science. And ultimately that's what school should provide, in my opinion.
