This park is great for camping. Took the kids and they had a blast. There are over 20 camp sites to choose from. The area is beautiful.

Why pay over the top to stay in a box when you can enjoy the 'penthouse' suite (site #1) at Limekiln with a panaramic view of the coast and cove, hot showers and, well, cold showers under the waterfall (think non-tropical). One caveat: check out the Marine forecast, 40 mph gusts forced us to take down our 10-person tent and relocate into the redwoods. A hike to the lime kilns is recommended. Here is where the lime was manufactured for those 19th century brick and mortar buildings in San Francisco. Now that this review is published, all the more important to reserve in advance.

Winter camping was quite an experience! Listening to the surf pounding at night lulls you into a restful sleep. Amenities were OK, views and hiking were exceptional. We would recommend to a friend.

We had the greatest time camping here this past weekend. The views were amazing and we had the best camp site. The employees were extremely helpful and accommodating as well since we arrived late on Friday. I would highly recommend this campsite, it was just a bummer we couldn't have a campfire :(

My wonderful partner, Roland, took me to Limekiln for my 45th birthday. It was marvelous. We had site #15 by the river. The hiking was great. The cute little bats flew int the campsite all evening and morning. I loved them! I'd love to go back again.

One of the most beautiful parks I have ever seen and camped at. Very unique place as it offers two beautiful parts, an ocean (beach access) and the the beloved wooded area. Awesome water falls are the cherry on top of an already majestic place. I can't deny that the hosts (Diane and husband) make coming to this park a very welcoming experience. Without a doubt, I will soon return and suggest everyone to do so as well.
