Sometimes you receive a review that stops you in your tracks.
This 5* review did just that. It means a lot because it's obvious to me that the writer is well acquainted with BDSM. And I am so very, very glad (s)he liked our story.
"This book like the others in the series deals with men involved in bdsm who are not cookie cutter doms and subs. The entire series is well-written with each story letting you see these men as men who do their best to do what is right but who make mistakes and have to apologize just like everyone else.
This particular book deals with several issues, some more common in the bdsm culture than others. The play subs and doms at the first club as well as the entire culture of that club is happening in many places. These places exist outside fiction unfortunately for newbies. The issue of age difference is important and I really enjoyed the authors' take on it. I never really thought about the question, where do older subs go when their Doms die?
I really enjoyed this book. As an older sub Jared was able to bring something very different to the group of subs at Collars and Cuffs. I loved seeing the very special relationships between him and Peter and him and Scott. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting the whole story, people, love, reality and bdsm."
