We were fortunate enough to get about an hour of sun in the Pacific Northwest (which is about all we've had in the past week) this weekend. It was still cold enough to numb my hands, but I was lucky enough to be down at the waterfront on the Columbia River for Sunday's sunset.

I figured I would send off 2015 with one of my favorite photos this year. This is the rusted out hull of a ship that ran aground on the Oregon coast over a hundred years ago. Here's to hoping 2016 goes better than that! Happy new year, everyone!

The H-4 Hercules. Eight engines. A wingspan of 320 feet. Truly a beast of an aircraft.

Took this on last night's photowalk at Stanford University with +Trey Ratcliff (who said to share everything with +Brian Rose, the guy with the awesome mustache). Also had a nice conversation with +Thomas Hawk about shooting different cities. Great evening with lots of great photographers.
