Come out to meet women who dig technology, learn about the month long series of coding training events, and show your support for growing a welcoming, kick ass local tech community. Rad Campaign, (http://www.radcampaign.com) one of the most fun web agencies that you will ever tech out with, is hiring a Front-End Web Developer based in Washington, DC!

Responsibilities include:
- Work with backend developers to implement custom website themes (Drupal, WordPress).
- Team up with clients and Rad Staff to evaluate client web needs and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with designers to plan out website information architecture.
- Create engaging user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
- Write clean, well-engineered code.
- Help create engaging data visualizations using front-end development tools
- Assist clients with technical issues.
- Collaborative and creative with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and be a problem solver.
- Proficient with HTML, CSS, SASS, Git, Drupal, and WordPress
- Knowledgeable about CSS design patterns such as BEM or SMACSS
- Proficient with Javascript frameworks and tools such as D3, Node, and Angular.
- Proficient with front-end development tools such as Grunt or Gulp.
- Experienced with command line tools like drush and wp-cli.
- Experienced with basic PHP templating in WordPress and Drupal. Additional PHP skills a bonus.
- Like to have fun and listen to good music.
- Enjoy using collaboration tools, like Slack.
- Have experience with nonprofit constituent relationship management systems (SalsaLabs, Convio/Blackbaud, Action Kit, Engaging Networks, SalesForce, etc), particularly with their client-side APIs
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be a team player, but also a self-starter who can work independently.
- Having experience with social networking (particularly the Facebook Graph Api) and Mobile app development is extra cool (like with a cherry and sprinkles on top cool).

Introduction
DC Web Women (DCWW) is a 501(c)(6), not-for-profit trade association of more than 3,000 members in the Washington, D.C. area.

Members of DCWW are professional women, students and enthusiasts of the technology industry from interactive design and development to digital marketing. DCWW offers its members opportunities for professional development through trainings, educational lectures, seminars, networking and career services. Members also enjoy a community of like-minded women, building connections and friendships through events and interactions on DCWW’s widely popular listserv.

DCWW provides various educational, career-focused programs as well as outreach and networking events to help create opportunities for members seeking to make a difference in their professional careers, establishing new connections and contacts and positively contributing to Washington's exciting new media industry.

DCWW is committed to the support and advocacy of girls and women in technology by providing a community in which they can develop, nurture, and promote their leadership, technical and professional skills.
