Most SMB owners would be shocked if I told them they are shopping for broadband ISPs in completely the wrong way. But it's true. My latest Op/Ed tries to connect the dots that Facebook would prefer to stay hidden. Mark Zuckerberg, the snake of a CEO that leads Facebook which has been data profiteering for numerous years, is now on a national pre-campaign tour. If you think Zuckerberg wouldn't abuse the data oceans Facebook runs, guess again. This piece digs into what Zuck is up to, and how his potential candidacy could be the dirtiest #CronyCapitalism campaign in US political history.

It's official - I'll be presenting a session at the ITO Compass 2018 Conference on what MSPs need to know about HIPAA compliance & how it affects IT decisions and their clients. Too much FUD and not enough accurate info out in the wild. ITO Compass 2018 is sold out but you can get on the wait list at: https://itocompass.com

Have an Xbox One but hate the idea of an external drive for more storage? Here's how I replaced my internal XB1X drive with a new 2TB SSHD. If you're willing to put in a little elbow grease, this is not too hard, and does NOT hack or mod your console. 100% official and pure Xbox One OS installer files are used in the process!

As the FCC vote to (hopefully) repeal Net Neutrality is today, I've penned a lengthy expose about why most of the MSM is absolutely wrong in blindly supporting this unnecessary set of regulations. The internet we all love has grown to what it is today WITHOUT any of this government red tape and we shouldn't start now! Read on to see how the hell, as a techie, I could oppose Net Neutrality.

When Zuckerberg took to publicly shaming fellow coworkers for dissenting against Black Lives Matter, many wrote it off as nothing more than PC pettiness. My latest op/ed raises the possibility of how Mark's outburst could be just the beginning of something much scarier: Thought Policing, which could very well get its start on Facebook's corporate campuses. Here's the how and why.

Apple's disingenuous stance towards helping the FBI get into the radical Islamist's iPhone from the San Bernardino attack really rubs me the wrong way. After soaking in the real facts surrounding this case, here's my own Op/Ed on the matter at hand and how this situation has zero to do with encryption privacy for the masses.

After a 5 year absence, I co-hosted the Podnutz Daily Podcast once again this past Sunday night. Google's Project Fi cell service, tools like PC CHECK / Fabs Autobackup, and Meraki's cloud networking line are just some of the topics we covered on the show. Great material for the up and coming technicians out there!

There are few reasons OS X couldn't thrive on regular PC hardware competing with Windows. And Apple's reluctance to let OS X free from its Apple hardware chains is a big reason many (like me) don't buy Apple. Here's my concise take on why Apple should open OS X up to the PC world and in turn, the big benefits that would bring to all computer consumers.
