Beanery is a great local coffee shop with an indie atmosphere. It's a nice place to sit outside when the weather is good to watch people wander through town. The coffee is always good, and there are always seasonal offerings like watermelon iced tea. If you are ever in the area, I'd highly recommend this coffee shop- they even speak English!

This is a great restaurant to get some local food like pierogi (dumplings stuffed with potato, beef or fruit-filled) and they even serve Bosnian coffee (aka boiled and extremely strong-delicious!) When you are seated, you are brought slices of homemade organic bread with a side of bacon fat for smearing if you so choose. The bread is very tasty. You can also buy bags of frozen pierogi to take home with you. Extremely inexpensive and really delicious food.
