And why are feminists protesting this??? Sounds like the very definition of choice, empowerment, and full equality, the buzzwords of the movement.

"Amendments to the Health and Social Care Bill could see independent groups- including those with an anti-abortion stance- invited to offer counselling in place of providers such as Marie Stopes and the British Pregnancy Advisory Service."
Two-day UK Feminista event aims to mobilise activists and school them in art of campaigning and direct action

Karl Rove just said Obama is hiding behind a lick-log. Wondered what the heck that was.

It's always saddened me that my son has not picked up my love for reading. Despite the hours and hours of "read aloud", the beautiful books, the trips to the library, the visits to authors homes and spots, etc. This article help explains why, some will never love reading. Sad, but true.

Google Chairman Eric Schmidt, "The government is spending way too much money, and it is way out of control" Just now on Neil Cavuto. Why is this not obvious to those in power?

Always easier to spend OPM: "[D]ozens of lawmakers are spending your tax money pretty freely -- on cars for themselves" (http://goo.gl/EEF9H).

May God save us from our goodness, as well.
"But good people, heroic people, are led into temptation by their very goodness — by the illusion, common to those who have done important deeds, that they have higher responsibilities than the ordinary run of humankind. It’s precisely in the service to these supposed higher responsibilities that they often let more basic ones slip away."

Baby "Donuts". A disabled child abandoned in China. China is changing their orphanages and treatment of abandoned children, which is good. Now if they'd just allow parents to love them.

Did you know there is now a law that says appliance manufactures do not have to carry parts for appliances over 7 years old? Well, it's true. My 10 year old refrigerator found that out today.
Now, that is a good use of our lawmakers time - protecting us from old parts fixing old appliances. Ughhh!

But it's all for our good, right? Kind-of like Cash for Clunkers. Oops, that was a failure.

OK, I'll stop feeling sorry for myself and our 401K. Instead it's time to pray and care for those who have a lot, lot, less. These photos - Lord, have mercy!

Introduction
I work with church and nonprofit ministries as a technology and community strategist.  I enjoy learning and connecting about  theology, technology, nourishing foods/cooking, and all things Apple.

This health food store has no frontage on Dillingham. Their entrance is from Rose Marin. Next to Granite City Electric. Cute store, nice selection, not much in produce though. Glad they are here when visiting Falmouth.

I found this butcher by accident and boy am I glad I did. Not only do they have the usual items, but they also have freezers full of everything from Ostrich meat to Elk burgers. I left with some homemade veal stock (which would take me all day) and some great steaks. I'll be back for the fresh homemade ready-to-go meals and weekly specials. Be sure and get on their email list - every week I can't wait to go back.
