I liked the course but my wife hated it. Not real user friendly for higher handicap golfers. It was very challenging and the greens were excellent. Fairways weren't quite as manicured though with lots of weeds. I'd heard positive things about this course from friends, so to me, it was a bit overrated. No asphalt or concrete in the parking lot or around the entire golf course on the all dirt cart paths. Some of the tees and greens were difficult to get to. Overpriced, if you ask me. There are better values at Paa-Ko Ridge, Twin Warriors and Cochiti Golf Courses in the area.

I had heard their prices had dropped, but the same price list is still on the website.

The location has beautiful views. Just so long as you doin't have to look at the holes. This is goofy golf at its best. Lots of blind shots, starting with the first hole. They built this course through a bunch of ravines in a rocky landscape. When you are limited with this type of terrain, the result is a lot of bad holes. If you hit it off the fairway/rough, just reload or drop one. I will not be back.

Played in early November. Probably should have gone to Paako or Twin Warriors or Sandia. No cafe or snack bar open, and the pro shop guy says "welcome to winter golf in New Mexico". It was 60 degrees that day. Also, no cart girl. Then when I asked if I could fill my water bottle at the turn, he directed me to the bathroom sink. Driving range lacked very many balls. Dusty cart paths only. Beautiful views. For an indian course, I would have expected greener. Nice greens. Very challenging course. Amazing views.

Great track. Unbelievable views and good condition. Takes plenty of creativity. Btw Ed (other review) probably played the wrong tees. Pretty high slope so make sure you play the correct tees for your handicap and use the pro tips on the GPS.

The course has amazing views and it challenges you on every shot. If you're used to playing courses where you can see trouble spots and the fairways and greens are wide and forgiving then this course may not be for you. Cover the hills with high grass and gorse and it could be in Ireland or Scotland where blind shots are part of the challenge and you can hit approach shots to the green along the ground or in the air. Green fee is ridiculously low for a course of this caliber and the staff was very friendly and ready with advice on playing the course. Tips on the cart's GPS were very helpful too. Located not far from Santa Fe or Taos and should be a must play when in the state.
