Here, a little classical music humor to start your day

I've had this earworm (or call it involuntary musical imagery) on and off for the last 3 days... Rachmaninoff's Prelude in C-sharp minor Op. 3 No. 2. Not a memorable title, but I assure you it's a memorable song! It's absolutely haunting me this week.

I was feeling rather sad that I'd probably never be able to play it (because like the title says, Rachmaninov had big Hands), but then I discover this ingenious idea...

Stunning. Quantifying nature from Higgs to Tau  into music is absolutely  breathtaking. There is a video also of taking other numerical, mathematical and other scientific concepts (equations ect.) and rendering it into music. It demands one to take a moment and realize that they  are hearing the secrets of all creation in its various forms. Light waves and sound waves. The scorebook for existence.

Para muita gente, a primeira coisa que vem na cabeça ao acordar é a música; Não importa em que sentido (alegria de ouvir, problemas para a apresentação, etc.)

Introduction

This article is about Western art music from 1000 AD to the present. For Western art music from 1750 to 1820, see Classical period (music). For other classical music traditions, see List of classical and art music traditions.

Classical music is the art music produced in, or rooted in, the traditions of Western liturgical and secular music, encompassing a broad period from roughly the 11th century to present times. The central norms of this tradition became codified between 1550 and 1900, which is known as the common practice period.
European music is largely distinguished from many other non-European and popular musical forms by its system of staff notation, in use since about the 16th century. Western staff notation is used by composers to prescribe to the performer the pitch, speed, meter, individual rhythms and exact execution of a piece of music. This leaves less room for practices such as improvisation and ad libitum ornamentation, that are frequently heard in non-European art music and popular music.
The term "classical music" did not appear until the early 19th century, in an attempt to "canonize" the period from Johann Sebastian Bach to Beethoven as a golden age. The earliest reference to "classical music" recorded by the Oxford English Dictionary is from about 1836.
