Triple shadow taken about 10:45 Pacific time just before the disappearance of Io's shadow.  You can't see Io on this image mostly because my image resolution isn't that good, and my scope is not a planetary scope.

TEC 140 with 2X Barlow at F14 so about 1800 EFL, more or less.  1 minute video at 30 FPS (60th of a second).  About 2200 frames, took the best 75% in Autostakkert then processed in Pixinsight.

I've been away from the community for months as I've sentenced myself to learn Pixinsight.  I was under water for a very long time, but I've recently surfaced and I'm through the "hump".  The Pixinsighters among you know exactly what I'm talking about.  Then endless clouds.

Anyway, this is my first Pixinsight LRGB process.  In retrospect it was a dumb image for a first process, but I didn't know that at the time. Live and learn.  Final result isn't perfect by any means, but frankly I'm sick of looking at it so here it is.

NGC 281 (Pacman)

About 3 hours L
2 hours each R,G,B
All binned 1X1 with 10 minute subs
TEC 140 on A-P Mach1
November 24-25
Processed 100% in Pixinsight.

If your appointment is at 10:20 you will be seen at that time. I have been going to them for years and I couldn't recommend them more highly.
