Hiking through the woods is so overrated. Walking across the treetops is real adventure. Join Queen’s Young Alumni as we climb monkey bridges, walk across rope bridges and suspended walkways, soar down a giant zip line and, of course, connect with old Queen’s buddies and meet new friends.

Queen’s Young Alumni invites you to join them at Camp Fortune Aerial Experience on August 12th from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Registration must be done by clicking the following link: https://advevents.queensu.ca/cgi/page.cgi?event_id=1114&_id=3&action=viewdetail (Please note: hitting "join" on the Facebook event does not mean you are registered)

The registration fee includes:
- Transportation to and from Camp Fortune – pick up location will be at Tunney’s Pasture
- A half day of fun in the trees and zip lining
- A light BBQ lunch – lunch options include: hamburger, cheeseburger, hot dog, sausage or veggie burger with pop/water

For more information on Camp Fortune and the zip lining activities visit (http://www.campfortune.com/en/summer/aerial/home.php).

Queen’s Young Alumni’s first event sold out, so register soon to guarantee your spot.

Please note that athletic or running/closed toed shoes are required. We hope to see you swinging from the trees soon!

Please RSVP by August 3, 2012.

Don't miss the Annual Alumni Curling Funspiel on Saturday, February 25th, 2012.

Please join your fellow Queen’s Alumni at this always popular event, to be held on Saturday, February 25th, from 5:30-9:00 p.m. at the Rideau Curling Club (715 Cooper Street).

Curlers of all abilities are welcome. Equipment and instruction will be supplied for those who may be new to the game (or for those who just want a refresher).

The registration fee of $25 per person covers a fun evening of curling as well as post-curling snacks. This year we’re mixing things up a bit, with a challenge match against the University of Regina Alumni.

For more information, please contact Kevin Goheen, Sc’83, at kgoheen@gmail.com.
