This week's message of the week is: "Goals We Set Are Goals We Get"

“You can't hit a target you cannot see, and you cannot see a target you do not have” - Zig Ziglar

Howard Hill was the greatest archer who has ever lived. He was known for being able to shoot small objects like fruit off of the top of people’s heads. He was able to hit a bull’s-eye with one arrow, and then shooting another arrow splitting the first one in half. Howard was so good he won 196 competitions… in a row!

What if I told you that even if you had never picked up a bow and arrow before, you could beat Howard Hill in an archery competition. It’s simple… you just have to put a blindfold on him and then move the target!

You see, goals are like targets. It’s impossible to hit a target if you can’t see it… and you can’t see something that’s not there.

So the first step in accomplishing your goals is really just thinking about what your goals are. What do you want to accomplish? What do you want to do differently?

What would you like to achieve in school, at your work, or in your training?

Then, whether your goals are big or small, write them down. When you write your goals down you make them real… you create a target!

And once you can see your target you can take aim and start working towards hitting that bull’s-eye!

What are your goals for the new year?

It's cold out! And many people lack the resources they need to protect against the winter weather. That's why in January, we're helping those in need stay warm. Every 10 check-ins helps provide a winter coat to someone in need through Soles4Souls. Let's #keepamericawarm!
