I have loved this man and his music since he/I heard his first song on the radio. I have followed his heart; I have learned about the emotions of men as I raised three sons alone; but, what I learned the deepest is that this man, Neil Diamond, is a profound visionary and full of wisdom to share, just listen to his words. They come from his soul. Throughout both of our lives, his music has been in my auto-reverse cassette player. Neil, you ran 10 miles with me and it took many months of us putting that kind of energy inside of me. Eventually, I felt like I was flying. I would have never felt that if I was not running with you. Now we walk in the same generation. Dig dig and send me what you have learned now that you are happy all over again. Sing your songs. I am still listening. Kitty Kelso
Kitty, not to undermine your enthusiasm for "Mr. Diamond", but you must have quite the story to tell also, raising three boys on your own, and still alive to talk about it! Ever listen to Billy Joel? The stories he told are unreal, as he predicted his future or demise, and wrote a song about it, then pretty much all the stories came true a few years later! His first wife, Elizabeth (carelessly cut you, and laugh while you're bleeding) took him for so much, and then he hired her brother to watch his money, of all things! The song Christie Lee....what a prediction that was! "They say that Joe became a wino"......"all she wanted was the sax"...anyways, pat yourself on the back for a job well done in life, and have fun!
