Parallella : a supercomputer for everyone. I'm backing this great project on Kickstarter because it could really bring computation hungry neural computing applications (e.g. advanced computer vision) closer to reality.

Please help this project by sharing this post or become a backer yourself on Kickstarter!

If you're a graphics programmer, and you're not visiting flipcode.org every day then you are doing it wrong.

Flipcode's reopening is one of my happiest internet memories. This site was critical to my early education in graphics development, and I'm so glad its back.

I don't know if you are following the public-fx w3c mail list. It is funny, public-fx always had interesting topics but today lot of people from "community" are attacking a guy from Micro$oft. The funny part is that the Micro$oft guy already wrote lot of specs and the guys from "community" ..........

Khronos editors(khronos.org) are just idiots, OpenGLES does not have simple things like GL_UNPACK_ROW_LENGTH, GL_UNPACK_SKIP_PIXELS and GL_UNPACK_SKIP_ROWS. Probably they never wrote a line of code, ALL the medium/large applications need to use these operations. So they created the GL_EXT_unpack_subimage extension, but i do not see any driver implementing this bastard, solutions? Copy line by line the texture or do some hacks with pointers: https://bugs.webkit.org/attachment.cgi?id=136630&action=prettypatch

I just played an awesome few hours of Air Mech. It's great to take a lazy Sunday and force mechs to fight each other.

Viva la internet!

Incredible!
Lux Ahoy might be the first HTML5 game that you'll actually enjoy!

A lot of HTML5 games are just technical demos for new browser capabilities or a new underlaying engine and you don't see that many that look and perform great + are actually fun to the point of being addictive.

Enter Lux Ahoy (http://bit.ly/HUTUZm) where two bitter rivals - a monster Luxamillion and an elephant Trunkford are fighting an epic war across the seven seas!

Animations were made in Flash, converted to spritesheets using Zoë (http://bit.ly/HoxCer) and implemented in HTML5 with jQuery, EaselJS (http://bit.ly/tP6J5b) and SoundJS (http://bit.ly/HdqG9p) with the help of Box2DWeb for physics (http://bit.ly/HYPZqe).
