Despite every time I get a growler fill at this place its not topped off so it goes flat quickly (they turn the tap off when the foam tops the bottle) - I love the brewery feel and the beer. Perfect bar set up. The Funkmaster is awesome. I used to love getting growler fills at this place, I just wish they would come out with cans or charge less for fills and actually fill the bottles. (They are price gouging growler fills at $17 for 64 oz, and $9 for 32 oz, even if you are getting two, $10 for a single 12oz specialty bottle, woah!) Another brewery downtown charges way less and fill your growler all the way to the top with millimeters to spare.

Chris, please note the fill lines on the growlers. Growlers don't go flat unless you have opened them after fill a few times. You are also paying 4.25 a pint when you fill growlers. Versus the $6 in the tap room. The 12oz bottle was the "biggest" beer we've ever made. I.e. The most expensive to make. It also just won bronze at the North America Brewers Association Comp this past week! Cheers!

Great beer and cool atmosphere. Discovered it in August and the secrets getting out! Every time I go the crowds seem to get larger! Any time I have friends visiting I always take them here. Can't say enough about the people working here also. They're very friendly and knowledgeable. My favorite spot in Charleston

Love this place, funkmaster IPA and war child are awesome. Really cool environment and wish I could get some bottles of this liquid gold. They only sell by the keg locally right now.

Small brewery with big flavors. Easy to get to from Arthur Ravenel Jr Bridge or right before you get on the bridge. I really enjoyed the cask of the Flaming Mallow, but my favorite was the Quadum Leap, an excellent 4x IPA Barleywine!

Fun place with knowledgeable person behind the bar. Nice selection of pub appetizers. Seems their brewers enjoy high gravity beers which you'll enjoy if you want a big beer. They are beginning to experiment with sour beers and the young one I sampled was pretty smooth for being a young beer. So far during my south east trip, the South Carolina breweries seem to be a step above what I've tasted in Savannah or St Augustine.
