I've been going to this gym for 2 years too long...the only reason I go to this location is because of convince....there's not enough to weight lifting equipment...the machines are sooo played out.theu don't even have a stair master smh. To make it worse, the staff is rude and the trainer...doesn't actually can catch him relaxing in the massage chair when your looking for a class or just some work out advice smh.i will be trying the Flatbush and empire location and possibly using it from here on out.

I have been going to this location for over a year now so my review is an over view of my experience. My original gym is the wall street location because of work but i live near this one. I have to say that aside from it being relatively consistently clean, a nice manager, and convinient due it's location, that is about it. The staff are unprofessional, spiteful, rude, and unfriendly. Sadly, you as the customer wont know what is going on or why. After having an uncomfortable experience with a very slim female worker some months ago who used to work in the front due to some confusion about my account, i simply have tried avoid having any intearction with the staff on any level . I Just go do my thing and leave. Yesterday as i was checking in to work out i had another experience with a newer employee with bantu knots , she was very very rude, cold as ice, and unwilling to work with me the customer concerning the slight mishap. Through out the entire interaction was rude. At one point i asked if the manager was around. I decided to still work out despite it. As i was paying for a drink the rudeness didnt stop there. Her male colleauge with an afro and glasses , i think he is newer too, he and her were throwing their shade bc their card system was acting fickel in the first attempt to pay, condescending tone " you have to leave your card in" " you have sign then remove your card". Just rude in tone and demeanor. Still i went and worked out. As i was leaving i took care of the issue with the account which i felt was very unfair, and i am returning today to speak with the manager. As i was leaving they were closing so they had locked the doors. I stood waiting to be let out and there was some space enough to pass. The same male worker came and looked at me with such rudeness then said "ex-cuse me" like i was in the way. I took another step back he opened the lock at the door and stepped away without saying word. Negative vibes all around and negative energy. It was on the tip of my tongue to say something to both of them after all the interactions. I did not. I just decided they were not worth it and concluded after this being the second time that there is a major pattern with some of these workers that they hire. I also was not going to let them ruin my gym experience as a customer . I will however be leaving this location soon... Negativity is not my style on any level. They definately need to read all the reviews about thier staff on here. Teach customer service, professionalism, friendliness, objectiveness, and revamp their front desk employees. ✌

The gym is ok. Front desk staff are always engaged in there own conversations. The guys are more friendly. Then the female staff. Anyway I'm there to workout.

I was shopping around for a new gym yesterday since I live and work in the neighborhood. I was seriously considering PF because of the location and price but changed my mind after touring the facility and my interaction with the front desk person. I don't expect staff to be overly perky (actually I hate that) but from the onset, she was more concerned about her own personal conversation and seemed very bothered that I inturrupted her. She was very rude and unprofessional...totally turned me off especially since I received wonderful customer service at the other 2 gyms I visited. She literally rolled her eyes when I asked for a tour. The other staff member (a guy) was a but more professional but I couldnt get past the smell. There was a noticeable funk! The gym felt really stuffy and not well ventilated. I'll pass on this location.

The gym is great and clean. I think they should take some of the treadmills out and add more weightlifting equipment, but besides that I think the size is fine. You just need to go at the right time! The staff is always super friendly, but they are clearly a clique of friends and their personal conversations can get a little unprofessional. Besides that though, this is a great location. My friends that I have brought with me as guests have all loved it.

I've been going to PF at Flatbush Ave for a year, and thought that it was a great gym for just $10/month. I recently moved and changed my home gym to Church Ave location, thinking that it will be the same, but I was wrong. There is no room to move around, the space is really crowded with tons of equipment. The chest machines are way overrepresented, so if you are not a "light bulb" person who only works on pumping the chest, you will be disappointed. The space to work out with free weights is tiny and crowded: I went on a weekday morning, but with only a few people working out it still felt crowded. The paper towel dispensers didn't work. And worst of all, the gym is in the basement, which was really depressing. Dim bluish lights made it feel like being in a creepy garage of an old hoarder. The entire workout all I could think about was getting out of there. Giving it 2 stars, because for $10/month any gym is better than nothing.
