Seafood, Creole fare & famed bourbon milk punch in an airy room with a view, plus a raw oyster bar.- Google
"Great gumbo (had oysters in it for the mardi gras."
"Bourbon milk punch was awesome though."

Classy elegant wonderful place for lunch or dinner. Charbroiled oysters were melt in your mouth delicious. They don't call it Th e Bourbon House for nothing, many many diff bourbons to try and pair with food, also its connected to a wonderful hotel The Crown Plaza

Amazing oysters topped with very sweet caviar - a must try. They serve champagne by the glass too. They're usually packed every time I stop by, so I end up at the bar and order the same thing - this selection is addicting in fact.

This place is horrible. Don't eat there you will be sad you did. My daughters fries were hard like sticks. My shrimp and sausage gumbo had 2 shrimp and no sausage the rice was hard and when we made the staff aware they became upset. Stay away from this place!!!!

The bourbon house us every nice looking and elegant but they are far too expensive. I do not mind paying for good quality and portions but the portions were very small. For the price I was certainly expecting more. We had the catfish and there was nothing special about it at all. They were also little thin catfish strip so the portion was a little disappointing. Also, we got the bourbon shrimp which was very good but they only gave us FIVE shrimp!!!!! For 9 dollars and attempting to share the appetizer. I was not too pleased with that.

Great stuff, make sure to go during oyster happy hour too! If you happen to get the bourbon flight first realize that they are charging you $5 for a souvenir glass that you didn't ask for and it doesn't show on the menu price...don't worry though, you should be able to get your cash back by giving the tiny glass back to the front! Yeah...i know, sounds like scam-city to me too..but the food really is good, so is the bourbon, and most of the time it's hard to find a dozen oysters in a nice place for $12, so try it out!........So i came here again 2015 (last time was 2013, &2012 before that) and each time has been pretty much the same, that service is strangely slow. Oyster happy hour daily from 4-6pm is still cool, but dang...30 min to get a bourbon flight and kids soda is a little much. Had to drop rating down to 3 stars. Oh yeah, & no souvenir glass showed up this time.

Reviews were not spectacular but we were here for a wedding reception dinner. Food was very good and the bar tenders Luke and Damian were some of the finest I've seen anywhere. I have managed multiple bar/restaurants in Columbus and I can say I would be thrilled to have either of these two on staff. Professional, and enjoyable throughout the night. By far the best experience I've had in NOLA in terms of service and the food was worth the price. Continue the good work gentlemen!

This is unexpectedly good. Off the hook! The 50 min queue at Acme diverted me to Bourbon Hse Seafood and it's the best detour ever. Oysters are big & fresh with flavor and a great deal at 15$/dozen, gumbo was fantastic and even the chocolate tart was a surprise. casual atmosphere and friendly service at the bar.

Truly excellent food & service. This is the kind of place you go into expecting to pay $100 for dinner for 2 but you will not be disappointed. Everything, and I do mean everything, about our meal here was superb.
