To many business owners, computer business insurance sounds like something only tech companies would require. In reality, you don’t need to be doing programming or building and repairing hardware in order to benefit from computer business insurance. In this day and age, every business utilizes computers to conduct their trade. Any company without computer business insurance – also known as tech E&O insurance – is at risk.
You don’t need to be a tech company to need computer business insurance. However, you do need a tech E&O policy to shield your business from disaster.

The internet is changing the way we do business, but with the wealth of opportunities comes an expanding array of risks that your general business liability policy doesn’t cover. Internet liability insurance, also known as cyber insurance, could help protect you against lawsuits related to intellectual property, data breaches, server outages, business interruption due to hackers or viruses, and more. Every business has something to protect with internet liability insurance, and much more to lose if they continue operating with only general liability coverage.
Internet liability insurance is one of the best ways to protect your business against hackers, IPR issues, and privacy breaches. Invest in your business’ future today!

Similar to on-premises technology, cloud technology does not carry its own insurance policy. Server outages and data loss can prove costly for businesses, and cloud providers do not typically offer policies or restitution in case of damages. Moving your data into the cloud does not transfer liability to the cloud providers. Fortunately, cloud computing insurance can help protect your company.
Cloud computing insurance bridges the gap between company and cloud provider. If your data is in the cloud, you need cloud insurance to protect it.
