Food: wonderful, authentic Danish pastries at a very reasonable rate. I've always gone with the orders of kringles as it's probably their signature, if not the best, offering they have so if it's your first time, I would recommend the kringle to start with then work your way around the other pastries that hit your fancy. Service: efficient although I am not sure why, the young woman I've had at the register seems cold and her unsmiling presence is a little unsettling. She is efficient and professional so she will get your orders in without issue but I have yet to experience the friendly staff that some of the reviewers rave about. Ambiance: Unfortunately the bakery has no seating so you won't be able to enjoy a morning coffee with your pastry and read a newspaper to start the day. The parking situation is not the greatest, there are two metered areas and a small lot just behind the building. I would recommend coming in on the weekends since the traffic and parking situation significantly improve, giving ample time to choose and order.

What a great surprise to find such an outstanding bakery close to my home. I tried two samples, and also purchased two whole pastries. I have to say, I don't think I've had any better pastries to date. Each one I tried was a perfect balance of ingredients. The crust was light and flakey. The two women working at the time were extremely friendly, and welcoming. If I had to have one negative thing to say, it would be that there is no real place to sit and enjoy their pastries. Although, they may not get people to leave if they let them sit. Anyway, please stop by, and try this place. I promise that you will not be disappointed.

There's no place like this! Each pastry is about $2 each, with some dessert options costing more. The best thing here is the Kringle and the Copenhagen. There's always free samples for you to try it too. You'll be guaranteed to love the lovely people working there and the yummy pastries!

Man, I think I've had this place bookmarked since it opened! FINALLY got around to giving it a try! Came on a Friday afternoon around 1:30pm - copenhagen pastry - this was recommended by my friend and it's delicious! Super light and flaky, and the filling in the middle is lovely and custardy! - chocolate pastry - a bit disappointing, there's no chocolate in the middle! Just the splotch on top :( - raspberry pastry/apple pastry - same light flaky body with a yummy fruit center and that circle of icing around the whole thing - kringle - I didn't like this at all since it's very almondy and I am not a fan of almond :( The various other pastries I got were all light, flaky, not too oily and held up well after a few days of sitting out on the counter. There's a teeny tiny parking lot (4 spaces, barely) on the side of Copenhagen if you're lucky, but street parking isn't so hard to find either. Will definitely be back!

I really love Copenhagen Pastry. Sometimes all you need is simple and delicious and that is what this place is. It's a simple little shop with minimal decor. You go in and pick up a dozen or so (yes, a dozen!) and you are on your way. My favorites are the Copenhagen, Diamond and Kringle, all of which have either custard or almond paste. It's great for breakfast, a snack, dessert, gifts, all of the above? :) All in all, this is a great place. One of my favorites in LA.

I cant think of another bakery that i would rather go to. The pastries here are fresh, delicious, not overly sweet, and super authentic. The owner is wonderful, they visit their homeland often for new inspirations. Check out the new almond pastry they've started making, its amazing...im getting one now.
