Lensless opens tonight at ADX.  Don't miss out.  While the photos will be up all month, tonight is the only night to rub elbows with the cameras themselves.

Seal Rock, Oregon coast.  #hasselblad   500C with #kodakektar100 .  Roughly a 15 minute exposure made at dusk.  I never really count exactly how long they are, I just sort of go by gut instinct at this point.

Friday, November 1st I am opening a show of #pinhole   photography with three other talented and enthusiastic pinhole photographers.  The opening will be a display of not only lenless photography but the cameras that made them too!  So if you are in Portland and can make it, it'll be a fun evening.

Friday, November 1st 6-9pm

Hey guys, Plates to Pixels - an online gallery celebrating all walks of photography is having a #callforart of lensless photography (which I happen to be jurying).  There is no entry fee, possible prizes, a chance to be exhibited on-line (so no costs in printing, matting or framing), fame, glory and all that other jazz.  The deadline is October 28th.  And don't think you have to limit yourself to #pinhole   either.  Zone plates, lumen prints, photograms and other lensless photography quite welcome.

Hey all, happy to be part of the group.  I'm a (mostly but not entirely) film photographer from Oregon.  By day I help run a camera shop and by... well, any other time I like to sit in one spot for long periods of time watching my cameras expose.  Generally I use one or two 9 stop Hoya ND filters for most of my work but I do some solargraphy with pinhole cameras now and then too.  Thanks for looking, don't hesitate to ask me any technical details I forget to share, happy to answer questions.
