So glad the theaters came back! We all thought they closed because the thugs hanging around out front chased people away. Turns out they just wanted to renovate. Love the changes, love the recliners, Love having a theater near me with the nice recliners you get out where the "other" people live.

We saw Avengers Age of Ultron here the weekend the theater re-opened, and WOW. Everyone was super nice, the place was clean, and the theaters are super cozy. The seats are all red leatherish-ish cushioned 2-seaters with a fold-up armrest in the middle. You can reserve your seats beforehand, too. We saw a matinee for $9 on a Saturday but I think regular evening tickets go for around $10 or $11. Considering theaters this nice in NoVa charge $14 and downtown DC theaters typically charge $12+ before the commute or parking, we're incredibly excited to have this one within 10 minutes of our house in MD. And because it's in a mall, there are lots of food and shopping options for before or after the movie. The older negative reviews bear NO resemblance to the experience we had, so give this amazing theater a shot!

I am new to the area and was advised not to go there because it's ghetto. But I did because it's the closest movie theatre to where I live. The staff was pretty friendly, bathroom was clean, nice popcorn and the seats were super comfortable so my movie watching experience was also pretty pleasant

Love the new reno!!! They get an added bonus from me because of the reserved seating, now I no longer have to drive to Waldorf :-)

The bathrooms were nice, and they're the cheapest theater in town, but that's about all they've got going for them. Probably the worst moviegoing experience I've ever had. The movie was excellent (the Dark Knight Rises), but I've had better video quality from youtube. To say it was blurry doesn't cut it- there were times when I could not read text on the screen or even distinguish actors' faces in the background. The audio system was also... well less than par. I have surround sound connected to my laptop that sounds better- they didn't even have surround sound. The service was also not great, it took far too long to purchase tickets, and we had to find the correct theater on our own. As a film buff, I already go to the theater rarely because of the industry's inflated prices, but I'll pay the extra couple of bucks to go to a theater where I can enjoy myself- I recommend the reader do the same.
