My 2012 Nexus 7 8GB died a few weeks back, no idea why. So I picked up a 2012 16GB with a cracked screen for less than $30, repaired in less than an hour!

Living in a selfless humanitarian manner, maximizing the long-term good done to all humanity, makes sense, regardless of what may happen or not happen when we die.

We all know the benefits of doing unto others as we want others do unto us, as kindness towards others tends to attract kindness from others. :)  Hopefully more people see this Physics of Kindness:) and we can move towards World Peace faster. :)  Classical Mechanics says action force=reaction force.

There is a huge amount of data seemingly indicating that what we do this life, follows us in the future ► https://plus.google.com/110265788529286523789/posts/F789E8ntHW4, and this hypothesis may one day be proven by the best universities' psychology-neuroscience departments.   Professor Ian Stevenson studied 2500 consciousness continuity cases and wrote 14 books on the subject ► http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Stevenson.

I was thinking today - I already have an old phone running as a clock in my bathroom. My MyTouch 3G updates on my home wifi, streams an RSS feed from the BBC and let's me know how long I have until I have to leave before work.

Wouldn't Android Wear work better? These watches have similar specs, and do a nice job keeping you up to date with Google Now. How hard do you think it would be for someone with almost no porting experience to get Android Wear running on an old Android phone?

Horrible edit. Next time, smooth either side of the clips you want to edit together. The gap in the transition is too apparent. This sounds like amateur work.

Unfortunately, the CheapCast app is functionality broken. Something about the way it communicates has been severed on the Google side. BubbleUPnP is the most Chromecast-like app that does what you're looking to do.

Awesome tutorial - I just replaced my Nexus 7 motherboard from an eBay unit with a broken screen. Couldn't be easier. Thanks!

"This Chili's is no longer the safest Chili's to eat at?" That sounds like a threat. Either way, I'd gladly take my chances.

+TheOwningsberg I think if he feels the need to wear a protective vest and carry a gun, why the hell is he bringing an unarmed, unprotected child with him? That might be one of the most selfish things I have ever seen...and at the expense of the unarmed, unprotected child. As if I needed another reason to think that people who carry guns in public are ridiculous.

Introduction
I've been a banker, boat captain, waiter, bartender, scuba diver and world traveler. I've explored the ancient Mayan ruins of Copan, sailed the Florida Keys, had a cafe au lait in Paris, witnessed a political rally in Reykjavik, danced with the Touareg in Timbuktu, bargained with Arab traders at Djemma el Fna in Marrakech, jumped with Maasai Warriors and walked with elephants in Tsavo.

And I'm just getting started.

What are you expecting? It's Walmart. Shelves are somewhat organized. Checkouts are a slow process. The store, despite being recently remodeled, still seems dirty. But the prices are low - there's the power of low wages for you. You get what you pay for. At least the people watching is amusing.

Nice pub atmosphere, great selection. Service was prompt and polite. Excellent place to end a day on the waterfront, especially if you're already staying at the Cape Grace.

This is our go-to theater for the latest blockbusters. The theaters are always clean, the popcorn is always hot, and the sound and projection are always perfect. I also like the dining options near the theater in the nearby shopping complex. The only thing that's starting to bug me are the screen talkers that are starting to show up here - and it's adults that should know better! We stopped going to the closer AMC Yorktown because of the poor service and annoying younger patrons, but the last two movies here have been interrupted by older people not turning off their phones or making comments through the movie. It's not just the kids anymore!

Great place to grab a pint and enjoy the local atmosphere. The beer was good - nice to get something other than a pilsner. Food was standard pub fare. Favorite place on the waterfront for a night out.

Five Star Service in the middle of the bush. The tents were huge and enjoyed wonderful views of the river. I fell asleep each night to the sounds of the rushing waters, and saw baboons and hippos right from my private sitting area. The food and service here was excellent, and the game viewing in the Masai Mara is amazing! It's also possible to visit a Maasai Village near the camp, and a portion of the profits from this camp helps the local people maintain their traditions and supports education as well. I highly recommend this camp to anyone staying in the Mara, as they truly make you feel like you are home away from home. Asante Sana!

We tried this place a few times, since they are the last place open late at night. It's not great. There are several better pizza places in this area - being just miles from Chicago, that's to be expected. The only reason we would order here again is out of desperation. Not many other pizza shops are open at 1 am.
