If you're looking for a open place with good German food this is it. Not only do they have great food, they have good portions. They do community seating so it's also a good place if you want to meet some people!
The outback is more of a bierhall than biergarten, but I'm not inclined to split hairs on the matter when this is such a wonderful place. The back is where to be for sure when the band strikes up to play your polka, but the front isn't too shabby either with a rustic chic of an old gasthaus. The servers are friendly, and the stock of German bier is of course on point. Yes, if you want to get the litre stein, they are there.
The beer was nice and so was the service. The food was really gross though. We ordered crispy chicken with their pasta, it was hard to eat. The chicken tasted like hot dogs and the pasta was super weird and flavorless.
