Nice set of tap beer; simple and original cabbage and saussage with pint of beer for 12$ for happy hour (up to 6pm). More about laggers and light german beer then IPA; but worth tasting.

Great German beer, good Central European bar food. A noisy sports bar with no reservations, only hit-or-miss grabbing for common table space. Would definitely revisit.

The outback is more of a bierhall than biergarten, but I'm not inclined to split hairs on the matter when this is such a wonderful place. The back is where to be for sure when the band strikes up to play your polka, but the front isn't too shabby either with a rustic chic of an old gasthaus. The servers are friendly, and the stock of German bier is of course on point. Yes, if you want to get the litre stein, they are there.

This is the best place around for traditional, German and Czech style beers. They have a great selection of imported beer, but expect to pay a bit more than other bars. The glasses are large, and full of really good beer... The atmosphere is great, it's a true beer hall. Sit at a long table, next to your fellow patrons. You can also get sausage and baked pretzels. Delicious!

If you're looking for a open place with good German food this is it. Not only do they have great food, they have good portions. They do community seating so it's also a good place if you want to meet some people!

I make this a planned stop every time I'm in Boulder! I love the food here and set up. Good Belgium beers and the live music is always fantastic. The communal seating is unique and adds to the charm.
