SOPA & PIPA PENALIZE companies only for NOT taking down content, while protecting them from any damage the content takedown might have caused to businesses and users. This is little more than corporate vigilantilism, a sort of "street justice" where only corporations are allowed to carry weapons. This has no place in a nation ruled by law and governed by the people.

I am referring specifically to this section of the legislation: "
(a) In General- No financial transaction provider or Internet advertising service shall be liable for damages to any person for voluntarily taking any action described in section 3(d) or 4(d) with regard to an Internet site if the entity acting in good faith and based on credible evidence has a reasonable belief that the Internet site is an Internet site dedicated to infringing activities."

I wish I had done something like this as a teen. It wasn't like I had anything better to do. ;-)

As programs are updated, their hotkeys and interface are ever changing. Nowadays this happens so rapidly that you could expect to learn interface changes for the same program two or three times a year. Ubuntu HUD seeks to be the solution by allowing you to hunt for menu items like you would seek web pages in a search engine. I am particularly excited about the intention of integrating both touchscreen interaction and voice commands into apps along with the HUD. Just imagine using your fingers to manipulate the shape of a 3D object while typing single-handed shortcuts to alter the effect and choosing a color for your brush by simply saying its name, all at once!

There is now a great open source alternative to Remember the Milk called Wunderlist. The multi-OS source code for Wunderlist is available on github and you could even host your own Wunderlist server to sync between devices in case you are wary of who sees your grocery list. There are native apps for Android and iOS, so the mobile experience is up to par. The only two features I miss from RTM are three levels of priority (as opposed to simply important and ordinary) and multi-user lists so that I can make TODO lists with friends and coworkers.
If Wunderlist is not to your tastes, then you may want to try the social TODO list maker called Astrid (see astrid.com). Unique to Astrid is a focus on social TODO lists, including multiple levels of sharing, including read-write amd read-only access.
