Hey, please check this out - I did a jam pin-up with Jaymz of Split Screen and Jake of Modest Medusa to support their kickstarters.  Mirka and Rochel from "Hereville" are in the pin-up. (The pin-up also features Appa from "Avatar: The Last Airbender," for no reason at all except that I'm a big fan of ATLA.)

My Kickstarter is ending today, in just about 13 hours. If you're reading this you've probably already pledged. Thanks so much. Now let me try to convince you to help out my friends! I share studio space with Jaymz Bernard, Ben Hsu and Barry Deutsch. We all work right next to each other and we all try to help each other out. Right now Jaymz, Ben and I are all running Kickstarters.

Jaymz's Split Screen is a romantic comedy. It's great. The Kickstarter still has a week to go. We decided to do a jam print with our friend Barry Deutsch (of Hereville). You can ONLY get this print if you back both Kickstarters for at least $25 each. That'll get you both books plus the print! The print features characters from Modest Medusa, Split Screen, Hereville and Avatar: the Last Airbender (just because) and will be signed by all three artists.

Here's the link to the Split Screen Kickstarter: http://kck.st/1jc71pR

We're not done yet! I'm doing something similar with Ben and Elaine for their Licensed Heroes Kickstarter. Elaine and I collaborated on a great print featuring characters from both books. It'll be signed by both of us (and maybe Ben too). You'll get this print if you back both the Modest Medusa and Licensed Heroes Kickstarters for at least $25 (which will get you both books).

Here's the Licensed Heroes Kickstarter link: http://kck.st/1ibZy9M

So if you want both prints all you need to do is back each Kickstarter for $25 (and you'll get all three books)! Here's the art for both prints!

Story
Introduction
I'm a cartoonist, best known for my graphic novel "Hereville," about the magical adventures of a troll-fighting 11-year-old Orthodox Jewish girl. School Library Journal.com called Hereville "the best kid's graphic novel of 2010. Bar none."

I also create left-wing political cartoons, which can be found at leftycartoons.com, and blog at Alas, a Blog.
Bragging rights
My comic Hereville has been nominated for an Eisner, a Harvey, an Ignatz, an Andre Norton, and is the only comic book ever to win a Sydney Taylor Book Prize. Also, I draw good grotesque faces.
