We are creating the Next Generation UI platform for the VMware flagship product line - Cloud Infrastructure Suite. We are pushing the envelope on leading-edge technologies to build one of the largest installable web applications. This UI platform will be used by all of VMware web applications.

We are looking for a staff engineer who can push the limit of the front-end technology we use: AngularJS. Can you influence a team of ExtJS engineers to adopt #AngularJS? Can you build highly interactive, progressive and responsive UI based on AngularJS? Do you know the internals of AngularJS framework? If you answered yes to these questions, we want to talk to you now.

Introduction

Recruiting engineers for Cloud Foundry, the first open-source Platform-as-a-Service, http://cloudfoundry.com/jobs.  Since Cloud Foundry is built using Ruby, we are always seeking Ruby developers that have distributed systems development experience.  If you don’t program Ruby yet but know Java, PHP, Python, etc. and are open to learning/using new languages then reach out.

We are growing the team and rapidly growing awareness around Cloud Foundry.  We are hiring the following roles in this team:

As a Developer Advocate, you will be a member of the Developer Relations organization. Developer Relations is focused on driving the success of VMware’s developer products by creating a thriving ecosystem of third party applications and businesses built on them. You will be an evangelist for our newest technologies in the outside world, as well as a vocal advocate for developers' needs within VMware. You will be an engineer who thrives on the cutting edge of technology and loves seeing exciting, new applications and business that other developers are building. Your job is to drive momentum for exciting new technologies such as Cloud Foundry, Spring, Socialcast or Zimbra API. You will work with some of our most strategic partners who push our technology to its limits -- your job is to make them successful as they build apps that showcase the potential of our APIs and developer products. You will be the public face of VMware representing these products, speaking at conferences, on panels, at user groups, actively blogging & tweeting, and engaging with developer press and bloggers. Learn more
