We are proud to announce our partnership with Cornell's Women's Planning Forum in producing the Workplace Dynamics Survey for practicing planners. This short survey asks questions about gender issues in your workplace, exploring topics such as staffing, workplace behavior, and parental leave. All genders are encouraged to participate, and we ask you to share this link with your colleagues!

The survey closes on June 26, 2015.

Would our cities look any different if more women designed them?
The number of women in UK architecture firms is falling, and many urbanists are worried by the ‘very, very male-dominated’ worlds of planning and construction. So how would cities differ if women designed them?

Women of Steel: “I know I’m skilled but I’ve got to be extra good to prove myself.”
In a blue-collar business bursting with male bravado, a handful of willful women work twice as hard to conquer the world of construction.
