The Campbells (September 2015)  Barrier Dunes 191 – Turtle Crawl
My husband and I just returned from five nights at Turtle Crawl for the long Labor Day weekend with our dog, another couple & their three-month-old baby. That may sound like a lot of people in one unit, but we had plenty of room to spread out & enjoy our vacation. The weather was wonderful & we were able to take advantage of the blue green water & pristine sands of the Cape.

Our black lab, Lily, loved being able to included in our vacation. The unit & complex cater to dog & their owners by having dog bag stations & green areas all around the grounds. The beach & beach-goers also loved petting Lily & introducing them to their fur babies. It was our 1st time experiencing a truly dog friendly beach.
Turtle Crawl was very clean, inviting & comfortable. This was our 1st time staying at Cape San Blas & we will definitely be holding onto Wendy’s information to book again next year. On our first day, Soni, the local manager stopped by to make sure that everything was as it should be. I thought that attention to detail was very nice. The condo is very well appointed with everything you need to make dinner from knives, pyrex, spices & measuring spoons. It also comes with extra chairs floats and games for bad weather. All you need is your beach towel!
We had been advised that we may want to prepare our meals at night so we didn’t have to venture to the Piggly Wiggly during our stay. If we needed anything we ran down to the Trading Post which was very well stocked with everything from gourmet cheeses to liquor.
All four adults on our trip left  talking about making this an annual trip. If you are thinking about an easy quiet spot for your next vacation then look no further that Cape Escape & Turtle Crawl.

Wendy Northington & Family (September 2015)  Barrier Dunes 188 – Turtle Tracks
Happy Labor Day! We have returned home from Cape San Blas and and are all extremely sad our mini vacation is over.  We LOVED it!  The condo was great and had all the amenities we needed.  Thank you so much for everything!  We will  definitely be back again soon.  I’ve already recommended my Mom & sister call you for their next beach trip!  I couldn’t say enough great things about the location & the complex.

Buffy Mason (August 2015)  Barrier Dunes 12 – Pelican View
We’ve been to The Cape many times but this is our first time staying in Barrier Dunes. Pelican View was in excellent condition and by far, the best “stocked” home we’ve ever stayed in. Usually, we have to buy the basics–salt, pepper, olive oil, cooking spray, foil, trash and sandwich bags, etc etc. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find it all there. Unlike many others places we’ve stayed in at The Cape, the unit was also exceptionally clean–another nice surprise. The AC worked BEAUTIFULLY & the extra (minisplit) unit in the 3rd Floor Master was much appreciated. This unit is right on and looks straight at the water–the VERY BEST views of The Gulf. Also, our deck was VERY private. Captains chairs were a nice touch for dolphin and turtle watching.. Nicely decorated and very well taken care of. The community pool was also a huge hit with our kids…Big kudos to the owners as well as the Mgmt Company. We will definitely be back. :-)

Shari Gayda & Friends (August 2015)   Barrier Dunes 15 – Gulf Breeze
We had a WONDERFUL time!!!  The home was even better than we had hoped…spacious, clean & beautiful!!! The weekend was truly perfect!  To be perfectly honest with you, the only time we ever left the house/beach once we arrived was for one quick trip to The Trading Post to get more ice and OJ!

I have rented many places over the years and have never been to a place that was better stocked or provided more information about the house itself or the surrounding areas.  It is clear that you take pride in the homes you manage and of the Cape San Blas area itself.

I will likely be contacting you sometime this week or next to book a place for my family for next summer…I’m hoping for an annual trip to the Cape with family and/or friends (or all by myself if need be…LOL) and would be delighted if every trip was at one of your Barrier Dune options in Paradise.

The beautiful beach home, white sand, crystal clear sparkling (like diamonds) water, and most importantly the laughter between good friends on this magical weekend will be memories we all treasure for a lifetime!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing the beauty of the Cape with us!!  I will be in touch soon!

Wendy Vizant and family (August 2015)  Barrier Dunes 12 – Pelican View
We had a wonderful time! The views from the house were spectacular, especially the sunset!  We really enjoyed the fire on the beach & Dolly, our dog, enjoyed her first trip to the beach. Everything was very convenient & we look forward to visiting again. My family & I absolutely love that part of Florida. It’s a nice change from the east coast, where we live. No crowds and clear water.
