Yummy & Affordable Husband and I were looking for a place nearby because it was cold (25 degrees). Thankfully, the hostess found us a table away from the door in under ten minutes. Also, the food came out quickly and was good and plentiful. In addition, the prices are very reasonable. All in all, we were happy even though it was colder outside when we left.

Was there for St Pats day all was good except the $20.00 cover charge and inflated alcohol prices which changed according to the bartender

If you want experience a classic Irish pub in Boston, The Black Rose is the place to do it. They have live music every night, and all the classic new england, and Irish dishes you can get. (Guinness on tap is nice too!) The one thing that would make me want to come back would have to be the Boston creme pie. Some of the best I have ever had!

What's not to like about this iconic Irish pub right in Faneuil hall? At first blush you think it's just like the other hundred (probably hundreds) of other Irish pubs around town, but this place is Different. They have a great restaurant and bar downstairs and an even bigger bar upstairs. The selection is huge, the prices fair, and they really push the Guinness, as they should. No trip to Boston is complete without a stop by.

Amazing Guinness beef stew. Anything with the mash is also amazing. Very cool atmosphere overall. Great pub.

Commonly placed on pub crawls because its a great Irish bar right in the Faneuil Hall area! Only place in Boston that will definitely serve Irish Car Bombs as well!
