It is common for companies to jump into social media because they want to stay competitive and don't want to be left out.

I will be the first to admit that it is great for SEO, but it is more important to speak to the right audience with quality information than it is to have an account for the sake of having one.

Think about your audience and decide WHICH platform is best for you. Next, evaluate the capacity you have to create a quality social media campaign and then you can start having fun!

Is social media the right marketing tool for you and your company? What platform allows you to reach the right audience?

Take a look at our newest blog "Social Media: Quality Not Quantity" for some factors to think about before jumping into a social media campaign.

If your company is thinking about a corporate sponsorship, there are a few things to consider before jumping in.

On the other side, a sponsorship may not always make sense for a brand (hmm Kim Kardashian and NASCAR?), but maybe there is another reason they chose to affiliate their brand with a particular event or organization.

Check out what Philosophy Communication thinks are reasons to be a sponsor and reasons not to be.
