Pardon me, but Louis Armstrong's version was a cover.  The original, written in 1945, was French.  Lyrics were by the incomparable Edith Piaf, whose signature song this became.  It is this version that, outside the U.S. is best known.

Satchmo's version is the best-known English-language version, but to overlook Piaf in this would be viewed as sacrilege by the entirety of the French nation.

I do not mean to disparage Ms. Andrade's version, which is extraordinary in its own right.  Kudos to her.

As a fan of the Everly Brothers and Linda Ronstadt--who was at the height of her popularity shortly after I graduated H.S., I've always liked this song, but have been very particular about the covers of it.  For my tastes, this is a great cover.
