Infographic on music artist earnings from channels such as direct physical CDs, digital downloads, and online streaming services like Spotify & Last.fm.

http://www.informationisbeautiful.net/2010/how-much-do-music-artists-earn-online/comment-page-3/

While I love Spotify as a service, does it lead to more or less downstream sales? (in my personal experience, less).

Love to see a similar infographic for the book market.

Great article about Mayer's visit to Berklee: "Mayer realized that pouring creativity into smaller, less important, promotional outlets like twitter not only distracted him from focusing on more critical endeavors like his career, it also narrowed his mental capacity for music and writing intelligent songs."

Easily applies to us software people as well... http://t.co/5XjcLFR

With the impending release of my new book, Head First HTML5 Programming, I've been getting questions about which book to buy, this new one or the previously released Head First HTML with CSS & XHTML. Here's the answer, if you're curious: http://elisabethrobson.com/?p=815
