Where will this move to now when G+ is shutting down? (And please don't say Facebook).

Appeal Category: Rejected Takedown
Portal Title: Leknes Postkontor
City, Region and Country: Leknes, Nordland, Norway
Lat/Long: 68°08'50.4"N 13°36'25.3"E
Ingress Intel Link: https://www.ingress.com/intel?ll=68.147322,13.607014&z=18&pll=68.147322,13.607014

Reason/comments: The small town of Leknes does not longer have a dedicated postal office, it was shut down in 2013. The postal service is now handled in a grocery store in another part of town (see map image, red circle is where it was, now it's handled at red square)

Article (Norwegian, use google translate) dated 2013 about the last day of the office being open: https://www.lofotposten.no/lokale-nyheter/snipp-snapp-snute-for-posten/s/1-71-6975923

Ingress Intel Link: https://ingress.com/intel?ll=59.925391,10.702771&z=17&pll=59.925807,10.699914

Reason/comments: This was a temporary installation for one summer removed at least 2 years ago. Yes, it still shows in Google Map satellite view, but not in:

Areal photo from 2017: https://kart.1881.no/?lat=59.92589623131133&lon=10.700072050094604&z=18&v=4&r=&o=&layer=https%3a%2f%2fwww.webatlas.no%2fwms-1881-orto%2fOslo-2017

My photo taken today: I would have been standing in the middle of the installation. Photo is taken against the north east, in the back you can see the fountain in the middle of the park (Ingress portal called Art and Water).

Portal Title: Blommenholm Trainstation
City, Region and Country: Blommenholm, Akershus, Norway.
Lat/Long: 59°53'50.0"N 10°33'19.5"E
Ingress Intel Link: https://www.ingress.com/intel?ll=59.89721,10.555408&z=18&pll=59.89721,10.555408 Reason/comments: Originally I reported this because it's a small trasit station and the OPR guidelines says "Transit stations: Accept transportation hubs (like Grand Central Station), but not every single small transit stop (like a subway station or a bus stop)", but in addition I see now that it's a duplicate of this one: https://www.ingress.com/intel?ll=59.89721,10.555408&z=18&pll=59.896917,10.554951 So if you insist of keeping this transit station, please remove one of them.

Lat/Long: 59°55'19.4"N 10°40'50.4"E
Ingress Intel Link: https://www.ingress.com/intel?ll=59.922415,10.679737&z=18&pll=59.922044,10.68066 Reason/comments: The portal above is a duplicate of this one https://www.ingress.com/intel?ll=59.922415,10.679737&z=18&pll=59.922524,10.678606 both are from the same train/bus transit station (image below).

Although, if one are to follow the guidelines in OPR, neither should be a portal: "Transit stations: Accept transportation hubs (like Grand Central Station), but not every single small transit stop (like a subway station or a bus stop)"

Portal Title: Oberst Birger Eriksen
City, Region and Country: Sørvågen, Nordland, Norway
Lat/Long: 67°53'30.4"N 13°01'28.3"E

Reason: This bust is not located at the current location, nor have it ever been. There is nothing placed at the current location. This is just severely misplaced duplicate of this one, : https://www.ingress.com/intel?ll=67.898878,13.048075&z=16&pll=67.899932,13.046868

Idea #6 - Limit ADA/Jarvis usage

(This will be controversial.)

Issue: Given enough flip cards, and there are plenty around, we need not think long term, we need not worry before setting a bunch of links, and we need not play in favour of the team. Others (or we ourselves) can always undo a lot if we have other plans or better fields to set. It makes the game less of a challenge.

Proposal: Limit flip card usage to one person per day. Or limit usage by team: ADA only for RES and Jarvis only for ENL.

Portal Title: Drøbak Hundehotell
City, Region and Country: Drøbak, Frogn, Norway
Lat/Long: 59°40'18.8"N 10°38'03.2"E (59.671895 10.634212)

Reason/comments: The portal is inside the grounds of a secondary school. Just looking at he map won't reveal the placement of a school there, but if you do a search for "Drøbak Montessori school" will reveal it's location and the little education hat symbol. In the image attached I've outlined the school grounds and the location of the portal.

But even if it was not inside the school grounds, this is not a high quality portal. It's the front sign of a dog kennel neighbouring the school ("Hundehotell", literal translation "Dog Hotel"). It fulfils none of the criteria of a Ingress portal: It has no historical or cultural significance. No interesting story. It's not a hyper local spot. It's just a remnant from the time the Seer medal was active and people sent in every store/business sign they came over.

The city of Drøbak is littered with good portals (both cultural and historical), some are active, lots are to be discovered/approved, there is no need for this to linger.

Idea #5 - UPV/UPC marked portals

Issue: You don't have a way to see if you have a UPV/UPC on a certain portal. With the newly announced badge for September where one need to visit 300 new portals, this issue is further

Proposal: Make check boxes for UPC/UPV on portal screen. For easy of UPC/UPV hunting, this could be a filter in the scanner and on the Intel map.
