THIS
As more is found out, this TERROR ATTACK!!!!! was a man in a car with a knife or two.
Shittest 'terrorist' ever? Though that might go to the IRA man who blew himself up on a London bus in error back in '96

Dear news channels, I would like to correct your 'four people have died' with regards to the terror attack.
I don't think you'll find many who give a single fuck about this 4th person, as that was the attacker.
Kindly reword to 'three people have died' or if you really must, 'three people and the terrorist are dead'

'Journalism'
In the immediate aftermath of yesterdays attack in London, my father was glued to the moronic rolling-'news' of Sky News... "We can see people looking distressed... over there are some children".
I suggested that at the very least news bulletins such as the 6 o'clock news on BBC One would provide a summary of what we know so far rather than this non-stop meaningless commentary and speculation.
I also suggested that +Channel 4 News at 7pm would provide an intelligent and more sober look at events; we'd get some proper 'news'.
He took me up on the offer; they let me down.
I hate TV news

"Senior home affairs correspondent Simon Israel told viewers that the name of the man who killed a police officer and two civilians yesterday was believed to be Abu Izzadeen, formerly known as Trevor Brooks.
But during the broadcast Izzadeen's brother called in to Channel 4 News to clarify that he was behind bars for an unrelated matter. Andrew Neil also reported that Izzadeen's solicitor said he was currently in prison."

Location, location, location!
At last it seems Google have come up with a new proper home for sharing locations.
Previously seen in Latitude, then Google+, then greatly reduced in Google+
I suppose Google Maps makes sense for it as a home though I hope we get a instant glance widget as we do now.

Of course, being Google, there's a rival Google product to this recently launched (though currently only on Android), Trusted Contacts; which seems a tad redundant now (3 months after 'launch') tbh... https://blog.google/products/maps/let-your-loved-ones-know-youre-safe-our-new-personal-safety-app/
