Tit For Tat?

Corporations are leaving the USA because they wish to save on taxes? So...they want to make money here but don't want to support the infrastructure that helped create their profits? Let them leave with this thought: You don't make it here, you don't sell it here.
Johnson Controls is just the latest corporation to flee America for greener, lower-tax pastures. And until lawmakers reform the tax code, the exodus will continue.

Bong Hit Of The Day

This is a test. The longer it takes you to realize the logical reason for this, the higher your THC levels.

1. 5-10 seconds   - You are probably safe to drive a car.
2. 10-30 seconds - Using a sharp knife could be hazardous.
3. 30-60 seconds - Stay home, focus on Obama being Reptilian.
4. 60+ seconds     - Pull out the crayons. Write Alex Jones a nasty letter                                                               about him conning you. Address it to Bill Hicks.

Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton released two political ads attacking Bernie Sanders with the message "real change is impossible, so settle for me."

Cause when there aren't the votes to amend the Affordable Care Act, that's when we summon the resolve to implement single payer. Thinking small doesn't rouse the masses. Thinking BIG brings everyone to the table. The fact that Speakers Ryan, and Boehner didn't bring up legislation for a vote, or only to vote against ACA is irrelevant. Repealing ACA dies in the Senate, Obama would veto.
Pardon me if I don't hop on the all or nothing train like the Nader voters did in 2000. Let's those that feel the Bern come up with a Goldwater saying, extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice. They can savor that witticism while there was no Goldwater administration.

"You Are Sexist If You Don't Vote Hillary"

                                    BULLSHIT!!!

There are many women who qualify as presidential material. Hillary's history disqualifies her.

Perhaps another kick in the nuts to unions to come. What is amusing is observing those who cheer this free collective bargaining for non-union members are the same folks who are pissed that the poor are getting free food.
The U.S. Supreme Court took up a case Monday that could deal a crippling blow to unions representing millions of the nation's public employees.

My understanding is there is open shop and closed shop. I worked at US Postal Service[open shop]. American Postal Workers Union would have been my union. I was a member. Then not. Join at any time, quit during an annual 2 week window by certified mail to Washington, DC. Did not have to pay dues as a non member. Non union members were listed on their bulletin board. Stewards would point me out as a scab to other stewards. Such is life.

An Optimistic Realist.
Introduction
As Cincinnati is too Southern to be Yankee and too Northern to be Rebel, I'm too Conservative to be Liberal and too Liberal to be Conservative. If I were to be labeled, Independent would be the best fit.

We are a diverse world with differing views. While you may not agree with an opinion, respect that person's right to have one.

Hate only slows the quest for the zeal of life. It poisons the mind. It tarnishes spirit.

About me:

* Not a Tea Party member.
Went to a TP meeting and was turned off by the racism seen. Have never been to another. Hope your TP is better.

* Not an OWS fan.
Liked some of the basics when it first appeared but was turned off, after several meetings attended, over the 'give me' attitude.

* Not a Republican, Democrat or Libertarian.
Like the positives of all and detest the negatives of each.

* Not religious in the traditional sense.
Enjoy the Spirituality of my Cherokee heritage. Soured on the flaws of Atheism and Religion.

On Topics:

Tend to be for the underdog. Seldom play the Red/Blue game. Usually good at picking either side of an argument and defending it. Maintain a zero tolerance policy on hateful name calling. Enjoy the zen of being around the positive. Rather not hang with negatives. New and valid information often shapes my perspective. Baseless assertions tend to entrench me to the side with logical fact.
