The Democratic Party likes to entertain the illusion that you are moving somewhere, then turn around & destroy you. We don’t need them.

Solid Oak Outdoor Gun Rack

Just finished this outdoor 14 gun rack for a friend. Used reclaimed oak from a 150 year old barn I took down awhile back.

+Brenda Schouten-Beckett - Typically, the gun rack would stay outdoors. It is used primarily to have a safe and efficient way to set and retrieve rifles when target shooting on the range.

No responsible gun owner would allow their guns to remain outdoors when not in use. Main reasons are for (a) safety, (b) theft, and (c) degradation of guns, as you state. Doing so would be comparable to setting a $1000 laptop on your car and leaving it overnight. Unthinkable to a reasonable person but we live in crazy times.

Your question does extend to an area that has had focus lately. Namely, if an irresponsible gun owner were to misuse the stand and leave a gun unattended,  could I be sued if some person happened upon it and created injury by firing the gun? Again, while such a scenario would be unthinkable to a logical mind, idiocy is becoming more deeply ingrained.

Introduction
As Cincinnati is too Southern to be Yankee and too Northern to be Rebel, I'm too Conservative to be Liberal and too Liberal to be Conservative. If I were to be labeled, Independent would be the best fit.

We are a diverse world with differing views. While you may not agree with an opinion, respect that person's right to have one.

Hate only slows the quest for the zeal of life. It poisons the mind. It tarnishes spirit.

About me:

* Not a Tea Party member.
Went to a TP meeting and was turned off by the racism seen. Have never been to another. Hope your TP is better.

* Not an OWS fan.
Liked some of the basics when it first appeared but was turned off, after several meetings attended, over the 'give me' attitude.

* Not a Republican, Democrat or Libertarian.
Like the positives of all and detest the negatives of each.

* Not religious in the traditional sense.
Enjoy the Spirituality of my Cherokee heritage. Soured on the flaws of Atheism and Religion.

On Topics:

Tend to be for the underdog. Seldom play the Red/Blue game. Usually good at picking either side of an argument and defending it. Maintain a zero tolerance policy on hateful name calling. Enjoy the zen of being around the positive. Rather not hang with negatives. New and valid information often shapes my perspective. Baseless assertions tend to entrench me to the side with logical fact.
