+Joel Moocarme I can't even remember the exact problem now. I just kept losing the access to protected folders. Default is all good anyway. All my porn is on my laptop

Absolutely terrible, do not go with this internet provider. My circustances changed and I had to move and remove myself from my account. I fortunately convinced the tenant taking over to carry on with the 8 months left on my internet plan. Then unfortunately due to this person experiencing terrible customer service and being wrongly informed of the costs she decided she did not want to sign up with Orcon which was totally understandable. This then meant I was charged cancellation fees. They were non negotiable on this even though I argued had they provided correct information and good customer service to the person taking over my account, I would not have been in the costly predicament I ended up in. Not to mention the hours of my own time I wasted on the phone and via email. If you like a service that doesn't care about their customers then Orcon is for you! With these terrible reviews, no wonder Orcon charges $250 if you don't return the modem.

It would take me hours to describe all the problems i have had with orcon. Initially everything set up and installed fine then we moved. We get messages to say internet is being connected, then no one turns up, then its being connected again and again no one turns up, 4-5 times this went round. With all of these we are having to phone orcon to find out what is going on. Eventually we get the internet working then we find out were going to be cut off because we havent paid our bill, despite having a direct debit set up. After phoning a few more times the issue was 'raised' which means nothing has happened. They dont bother replying to emails. At least the internet is reliable

This is by far the worst internet service provider. Hours and hours spent on hold while they "look up" something, then after waiting 15 minutes more on hold, we get a half assed answer then put back on hold.

I am so fed up with this internet provider. The call centre staff are SOOOOOO rude. They clearly hate their job and I have never had a quick call, they always keep me on hold for at least 30 mins every time I call them and they can barely speak english and if you say pardon they get super mad at you and put you on hold again, very frustrating. I am also always over my limit for data, not good value for money and they internet is often down and we are having to reset it. I would not recommend using Orcon, go with a different provider before getting caught into their contracts.

Worse internet "provider" ever! Been promised fibre, chorus came round and fitted the box and cables in the house and tested the signal which was ok but when it came to orcon turning it on it doesn't work, everytime we try phoning orcon we get put on hold for about 25mins, when we finally speak to someone they go through the same checks of restarting the modem and other standard checks but after calling them everyday for a week you tell them that you've already done it and there must be something else wrong, they tell you a technical person will look into it and text you within 3 days, well guess what, no one ever contacts you so you call them again and get put on hold again, iv just got off the phone to orcon after being on and off hold for an hour an half, they are going to send me a new modem which is going to take 3-5 days to get delivered. Also what is really frustrating is none of them even speak clear English so god knows where these calls get sent to. We will be leaving orcon if this new modem doesn't work, we should of changed providers already but will give them one more chance. From what iv learnt is pay that little bit extra each month and go with a bigger company

This is the most useless company I have ever had the displeasure of going with for any kind of service, EVER! Useless customer service simply does not do it justice. Then, to add insult to injury they're sending me bills despite me being connected to a different ISP and being paid up with them to the end of my contract. I thought this had been sorted, but now they're threating me with an "External agency" to collect the "debt". This company causes me more stress than I need in my life! (And why can't I rate them less than 1 star?!?!)

Terrible. Signed up with Orcon after the previous account holder took their connection with them. Modem arrived and message saying I could connect after three weeks which is what I was told to expect. Took a number of calls to the call center in the Philippines before I was told Orcon have no available ports in my area and I won't get internet for almost a year! Surely this is something they should of been aware of before messing me around for a month? Called to close the account, but got transferred to technical support which I said I don't need. I just need to close my account. So tried e-mailing as I have already wasted a lot of time on the phone. This was useless as they take about a week to get back to you and my account is still not closed. Called again today and hopefully the account will be closed. Must be getting close to 2 months without internet now and have been having to buy mobile data. Orcon have cost me time and money and have not delivered any service. They had better not try and bill me.

Worst internet company ever. Disconnected every two weeks for the last 3 months. Had no internet for 3 months at one time with this company, and the bastards still tried to bill me for it, threatening to shut off my internet, which I didn't currently have. After about six months of threatening emails from them, they decided they were in the wrong, while still not resolving internet connection problems. They offered $10 credit for the last six months of complete garbage service, and a lack of ability to get anything done. Do not join this company, unless you live next to the exchange and have the ability to kick the technician in the shins.
