Check out new arrivals at http://gandhiana.org

If one observes carefully, the entire 'Horse Latitude' belt which geographically lies between 30° to 45° North & South of Equator invariably has a lot of Sun dried food products in their culinary repertoire.
The plausible reason could be that there is a short growing season and the availbility of ample Solar energy to preserve all the fresh perishable produce to be put to use later.
Sun Dried Tomatoes are typically associated with Italy and the Mediterranean region, with Pastas & Pizzas. However, one can be creative and use them in curries, lentil broths as a souring agent, or just tossed in salads and taboulehs.

Palmarosa oil or Rosha Oil is used as a massage oil. It has anti-fungal and worm expelling properties. It has a sweet geranium like fragrance. Similarly the Himalayan Cedar or the Devdar oil has germicidal effect. The patchouli oil gives a soothing effect. Gandhiana has a soap that brings these all in nice hand crafted bar
