College Town Breaks Ground

Continuing the City of Tallahassee's vision for the transformation of Gaines Street, Seminole Boosters, Inc., Hooper Construction, Inc. and private investors broke ground today for College Town – a distinctive living, dining and entertainment district designed to link downtown Tallahassee and Florida State University in a vibrant "Main Street" setting – at the property site between Gaines Street and South Madison Street. Upon opening in fall 2013, College Town will create an urban-environment that is casual, eclectic and safe while providing job opportunities and bringing several new-to-market tenants to the area.
