Albeit the homeless that frequent and the deranged "Philly Jesus", this is a good park that offers a lot in different times. For example: in the winter they open a German themed "Christmas markets" which are fabulous. The fountain in the spring and summer is cool, and the govt. even changed the color of the water to support different causes (such as pink for breast cancer awareness month in October)

To all those who say they can't stand the skaters at LOVE just know there's more important things for you to waste your time with. Long live the original LOVE park. The one the skaters called home.

The little vendor shops were cute and I checked on a few, some interesting selections. If you're into local artisan crafts and the like do get there before it gets too cold!

Let's be honest, this park is starting to show it's age. It is due for an upgrade soon and hopefully it includes more trees and landscaping elements because this place is kind of an ugly cement park currently. The fountain and love statue are a nice attraction but the statue is not unique to this park or even this city, go see the other one on UPenn's campus, for example. The Christmas Village is fun when it comes around. Local tip; ignore the people trying to help/organize your photo op in front of the statue, they just want a tip.

There is always a lot to do here. Get a picture with the Love sign. Hang out by the fountain, see if they changed the water color for the Eagles or other big event. Enjoy Christmas village in December. The food trucks rotate during weekday lunches. All in all, a place worth stopping while in Philly.

Love Park offers a really nice view between the Museum of Art and City Hall. There also are usually food trucks there every weekday. As for the park itself ... well, it's due to be drastically renovated shortly, so we'll see what it turns into then.

I want to "love" this place, but I can't stand the mess that skateboarders have made of seating. Black crap that looks like grease. Also, they've made a mess of the flagstone. Whenever I . Walk through and they are flying around I just go about my business daring them to skate into me. The blocks are totally destroyed from them skating, very wobbly to walk on. Love the changing color of water fountain. Someone threw something in the water a few years ago (to be funny?) but everyone loved it.
