Urgent Alert!

On Friday, January 13th, Rep. Chris Smith, [R-NJ-4] introduced H.R.7 – No Taxpayer Funding for
Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act of 2017 – legislation to make the Hyde Amendment permanent and interfere with public and private health insurance coverage for abortion.

The House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on the bill TOMORROW - Tuesday, January 24. Please contact your state representative and tell them to VOTE NO ON H.R.7!

Abortion coverage bans, including the Hyde Amendment, cut off care from those who need it most: low income families, young people, & women of color. Now, anti-choice politicians want to make bad policy even worse by making Hyde permanent law. We’re calling on our elected officials to block HR7 and instead, restore and protect abortion coverage. #BeBoldEndHyde #WontBePunished
