Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor with regional expertise in Latin America. Teach introductory courses in comparative cultural anthropology, and an upper-division Latin American Studies course in area of specialty in 2017-2018 academic year. Full course load; undergraduate only. Courses could include: “Latin America: Anthropological Perspectives,” “Applied Anthropology,” “Introduction to Latin American Studies.” Require: PhD in anthropology by date of appointment (for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor) ABD (for appointment as Instructor); teaching experience; regional expertise in Latin America. Miami University will not sponsor for H1B work authorization for the 2017-18 year.
