Hey, +Kirill Grouchnikov, where are we on this list now?
First they laughed and said there was no way he could last long in the party race
Then they laughed and said there was no way he could be a serious contender in any state
Then they laughed and said there was no way he would win in any state
Then they laughed and said there was no way he would be the party nominee
Then they laughed and said there was no way he would be elected president
Then they laughed and said there was no way he won't be impeached
Then they laughed and said there was no way he would win the second term
Then they laughed and said there was no way he'd manage to abolish the 22nd amendment
Then one by one they stopped laughing and started erecting statues and obelisks in his liking at every city square

So, +Google, since you lost in the bet on social media via Google+, how about bringing back Google Reader and Google Blog Search or something that combines the two?

Just resharing this for timeliness.
I've been using less social media and going back to RSS myself. For what it's worth, I strongly prefer +Inoreader

Maybe someday +Google Fiber will actually give an update that's of any value to those of us still holding out. My Google Fiber t-shirt is getting a little ratty.

“Web making has lately become something of a dick measuring competition.” Acknowledging the problem is the first step in ridding ourselves of our addiction to complicated toolchains and overbuilt frameworks.

The Cult of the Complex by Jeffrey Zeldman (that’s me!) in today’s A List Apart.
