I was just rereading this post of Courtney's from last week and with this being Hubby's birthday week, laying out a cheese board will be a fun way to celebrate!

Long ago, when my parents held parties back in the 70's, I was the girl who took around cheeses and drinks and helped pick up dishes. It was a lot of fun for a 12-14 year old and Daddy always picked up several cases of wine and laid out tons of cheese, specialty meats and crackers and fruit. My mom would whip up her vodka punch with orange sherbet and guests always seemed to have a wonderful time!

Enjoying this post for many reasons, πŸ˜ŠπŸ’•

Cool story out on Specific Feeds from Regional Food Solutions ~ a story of the writer's great-grandfather and his garden during WWII.

Okay, so this an older post of Marian's over at Miss Mustard Seed, but it's a good one if you're like me and are looking for a tutorial on how to create your own grainsacks with lettering and numbers! Super Cute!!!

Out reading myself this evening... Found Katherine's Corner and a cute pencil case idea for anyone who has kids/grands heading back to school! Also some seriously delicious looking wontons... Yum!

Stop on by and check out this blog linky where over 50 is nifty! :)

Hi Marie! This rolled rosette pillow turned out really, really pretty! I might steal your rosette idea for the chair backs I'm working on for Part 2 of my dropcloth chair slipcover series... :) I've been thinking how I could decorate the back and I think this might be perfect, thank you! Happily pinned to several boards, some will go over via Tailwind. <3

Love this project and I can totally believe it took FOREVER to paint and roll and add the rosettes. I'd still be adding them! ;)
xoxo Barb :)
