Great time here! I loved the atmosphere of this place - great energy, good layout, loud, but not so loud that you can't have a conversation. The menu has tons of options so it should appeal to even the most picky eater and of course a full bar, plus offering their own house wine (Firebirds label). A variety of diners from families, to couples, to large groups, etc...this place can really appeal to everyone. I would suggest a reservation as it tends to get crowded. Lots of dining tables, some in the bar area and a nice looking patio. We did make a reservation, but when we arrived we saw two open seats at the bar. Naturally we opted to sit there instead. I find it's such a better experience with two people if you sit at the bar. You can engage with the bartender and other diners. The bartender was great. In addition to the full dinner menu, the bar does also have a small bite menu. We didn't have anything from it, but it included staple bar apps. We started off with two martinis: dirty bird and their version of the Cap Grill Stoli Doli (pineapple infused vodka). Both were excellent, but that Dirty bird was prob one of the best dirty martini's I have had in a long while. I also inquired about their house Chard and mentioned I like Le Crema - he noted that I would not like their house. He gave me a sample, he was right... it was fine, but just not my taste. No apps this time, just straight to dinner. I ordered a Caesar Salad and added salmon & a naked baked potato. This is my go to meal when I am overwhelmed and super hungry - typically hits the spot. This place no different - everything was well prepared and good. Next time, I'll ask them to go light on the dressing. Husband ordered the Kobe Beef meatloaf (included side of parm mashed potatoes and green beans). He cleared his place... he really enjoyed it. I did sneak one bite, and I agree - solid choice. I noticed a flyer that stated HH Mon - Fri on the patio or the bar... I look forward to checking that out soon!

I used to be a fan of this place for years. But lately I haven't felt that way. First off, the bar menu was changed in a bad way. A lot of the good items were removed for whatever reason and replaced with non-appetizing items. On top of that, the pomegranate margarita, one of my favorites, was also removed from the menu. On my last visit, the bartenders were kind of standing around while I waited several minutes at the bar, wondering why I wasn't being acknowledged. Finally after wrapping up their conversation about another co-worker obviously, I was served. I ordered the chicken wings and ended up sending them back because they were PINK. Ordered the beef sliders, which were mediocre at best and very bland. A manager came out, offered her apologies, but at that point I was really done. Will not be back to Firebirds if ever anytime soon. Just not that same.

Celebrated a Birthday with a reservation in advance. Table was ready when we arrived, the staff behind the desk and the waitress's were perfect. The meal was excellent and everything went admirably. Have eaten here many times with very few issues, but when there is an issue, the management always make it right.

I'm a SUCKER for service, and this Firebirds has it in droves. Our waiter(Aris?) was polite, attentive, and always had a smile. Same for the hostess. The waitress who brought our drinks smiled and said you're welcome, the waiter who brought us our food also smiled and asked how we were and if we needed anything else. I watched the rest of the staff while we waited for our food and while we ate, and it seemed that each made the same efforts to provide positive, helpful service. The food was excellent --- great beer list, too. I was craving a burger, even though I've had most of the fish entrees at other Firebirds and have enjoyed each of them. I had the Blue Cheese burger, added bacon, medium rare. The burger was juicy and cooked to a true medium rare, the blue cheese sauce was true crumbled blue cheese, NOT a salad dressing, the portabella mushrooms had a nice firm texture and weren't overcooked, and the bacon was EXCELLENT, and at only fifty cents extra, I couldn't believe it! Girlfriend had the portabella sandwich -- all ingredients were very fresh, as was the bread. We both had fries(again, craving), and the steak fries were expertly cooked. I also love that they serve ketchup in a small dish, as opposed to leaving a bottle on every table. Just slightly more classy that way. I've enjoyed the food at every Firebirds I've been to, but I decided to write this review because the service at the Hoover location is worth spending your hard-earned money for when you're surrounded by so many dining options.
