Making friends on my travels.
One of the best parts of going out and taking photographs are the people I get to meet on my travels. This little girl looked so tiny surrounded by thousands of pounds of horse flesh and two long horned bulls.  We had a nice ...

It's just I see a lot of artists amateur especially, who paint them, they all do a good job, I've thought about it, but I have to have a picture or a real one to look at, I can't remember all the details just off of my head

Zombies Take over Fort Langley
Today at approximately 3:00 PM the streets of Fort Langley were taken over by frightful zombies.  Rumors are that the Fort Langley Studio was responsible for the rising up of the zombies.

Taking a break from painting to share some fall lanterns.
Loving the colors of fall! It's time to take a break from painting, as I sip on a fresh hot cup of coffee I watch the leaves outside my windows spiral and float gracefully to the ground.  It won't be long before the t...

A quiet morning on the river, it is busy with fishermen but they do not disturb the quietness of the moment.
I gravitate to the same places over and over and each time a different scene awaits me.  Today it was the beautiful blues and greens of the normally grey waters of the river that greeted me.

Artist Statement

The creation of a painting is magical, watching it slowly come to life, the ebb and flow of placing colour, the brush moving across the canvas balancing each aspect until it becomes the vision I imagined. As I paint, memories often surface, of a time or place, it can bring back the feel of a gentle breeze on a summers day, or the scent of a fragrant rose, or even the sound of children laughing.

As a artist I am inspired by God's creation, natures beauty, the play of light, shadows, and reflections intrigue and challenge me.
