Wishing peace for all.
The soft diffused light of the morning tenderly awakens the blossoms, bringing with it memories of seasons past.  The Season of Awakening

And that is another day done.
On gentle feet twilight creeps, silently with no sound, barely noticed, softly fading away to dark. Heritage Park, Mission BC

The water is rising and moving fast at Inch Creek as the snow melts high on the mountains.  All was good until I was chased home by the raining.

As we approach the Easter long weekend family comes to mind and heart.
As we approach the long weekend for Easter, thoughts of family come to my mind and heart.  Families are held together with love and memories.  As we age the memories might fade a bit but the love stays strong. This image I ...

Artist Statement

The creation of a painting is magical, watching it slowly come to life, the ebb and flow of placing colour, the brush moving across the canvas balancing each aspect until it becomes the vision I imagined. As I paint, memories often surface, of a time or place, it can bring back the feel of a gentle breeze on a summers day, or the scent of a fragrant rose, or even the sound of children laughing.

As a artist I am inspired by God's creation, natures beauty, the play of light, shadows, and reflections intrigue and challenge me.
