So this weekend I installed a mirror in the bathroom. The bathroom has been without a mirror since I moved in to the place. It is so nice to finally have a mirror in the bathroom and it was super easy to install.
I bought the mirror at Metro Glass. I am really impressed, these guys are super professional. I called them at about 5 pm and they stayed open late and cut my mirror after hours for half the cost of Home Depot and Lowes. Then to top things off the guy running the shop gave me the glue and hard ware to install the mirror.

I got to watch this little leopard gecko escape into the real world today. It was pretty cool to watch.

The guys and I were discussing politics at the shop (I know, bad idea) and we decided that a person should have military experience before being eligible for the presidency. I'm not saying that you have to have gone to war, just that you served.

I don't think that is too much to ask. Four years and a honorable discharge.

Is it just me, or is 300 years a little bit long to keep mayonnaise around?

I just got into a debate in my psychology classs. The professor told a fictional story about a family where the wife was diagnosed with a rare desease and the only cure for the disease was a fictional drug called "iradium". The drug was only made by one doctor and he could make the drug for $400 and he was selling it for $4,000. The family tried everything to come up with the money to get the cure and only came up with half. The doctor refused to negotiate and wouldn't take half payment up front. The man was frustrated and decided to break in and steal the drug.

The exercise is to discuss the ethical issues with what the man was planning to do. The class quicky turned on the doctor and made him the vilian. They said that it was immoral to sell the drug at that price. The debate I got into was one about who decides what is moral and immoral. Clearly the doctor has no moral issues with selling the drug at that price. The other students said that it is wrong because someone will die. I told them that there is always someone who is going to die, why does this woman deserve a break. Why do they get to decide what the doctor makes on a drug? Where is the line drawn?
