A bit of a late notice, but Houston members please take note: we're having a welcoming party at Asgard Games tonight starting at 5pm and going on into the night.

I purchased Asgard Games very recently and intend to make it a friendly home for roleplaying/storytelling and certainly for everyone in the Gauntlet. As such, this is also a send-off for prior owner Will Pagani who is leaving to take a job at Privateer Press.

If you cannot make it tonight, then I hope to see you here in the near future.

We're at 3302 S. Shepherd, between Richmond and Alabama.

Aiming to bring more story to cRPGs now too. Théah is a great world for stories and we have a great one to tell. A "First Mate" pledge of $17 nets the digital game reward, so please take a look. Thanks! #7thSea #cRPG

Hello Gauntlet, I'm finally running a Kickstarter project that may interest this community. I proceed here mindful of +Jason Cordova’s recent note about posting to the community. I’ve run a lot of KS projects and don’t post about them here because I don’t want to spam the community, but this one aligns nicely.

Prince Valiant The Storytelling Game by Greg Stafford is worthy on its own merits as an early RPG that features elements valued among Gauntlet members, but an upcoming stretch goal offers new material from a host of designers this community holds in high regard. Indeed, I first heard of some of these designers from the Gauntlet Podcast.

The project’s $40k stretch goal will add scenarios by designers such as: +Bret Gillan, +Meguey Baker, +Dev Purkayastha, +Sage LaTorra, +Epidiah Ravachol, +Julia Ellingboe, and +Emily Care Boss. Other great designers like +John Harper are already included.

I hope you’ll share the project with like-minded gamers. Not only am I delighted to have these designers involved in my project, but I also believe it’s an opportunity to introduce their work to gamers who might not otherwise learn about games like Shooting the Moon, The Final Girl, or Psi*Run.
