St. Patrick's Cathedral holds its own among Midtown's tall buildings and historic architecture, its twin spires jutting 330 feet up toward the heavens. Fresh off a $177 million restoration—which cleaned those spires as well as the heavy bronze doors, ceiling, stained glass and enormous pipe organ—the Neo-Gothic church is among NYC’s most-visited religious sites; in fact, it's among the City’s most-visited attractions period, welcoming an estimated 5 million people every year.

Enjoy Summer Streets in NYC August 8 & 15.  Long stretches of Lafayette Street and Park Avenue, and a few connecting streets—will be closed to motor vehicles and open to the public for biking, strolling and dancing. There are also "rest stops" along the way, offering activities galore—a climbing wall, parkour, bicycling, salsa dance lessons and a 160-foot zip line!
